Is it too early to be picking a President? Should even those of us who think we know these folks sit back and listen before we leap?

I think it's too early although I have my favorites, I also have my doubts. I remember how excited I was when Bill Clinton was elected. And I also remember how angry I was at him for us unworthy behavior as a dirty old man [president]with a very young woman.
But I would happily let him be an "interim" president for the next 2 years.
Not a bad idea. This dead-on-arrival admin could use a caretaker, to say the least.
